South Gower gets baking to raise money for Welsh Refugee Council

The Parish of South West Gower has raised £1,900 to help the Wales Refugee Council’s work.

The money was raised through cake a plant sale at Horton Hall – the second year that the parish has raised money for the organisation. Pictured are Priest in Charge of South West Gower Justin Davies with the Welsh Refugee Council’s Lina Lia and some of her volunteers.

The Welsh Refugee Council speaks out on behalf of those who are fleeing persecution, conflict and oppression and empowers asylum seekers and refugees to build new futures in Wales.
